Indian National Research Academy, a top scientific organization in India announces 2020 fully funded TATA Fellowship in India for students from developing countries. Typically the TATA Group administrates the INSAJRD ORDE Fellowship in respect of the deceased JRD Tata, futurist and a leading industrialist. Moreover, the Fellowship aims to extend facilities of the advanced technological infrastructure expertise of India to experts and researchers of developing countries. Moreover, the Fellowship set up from a Foundation received from Dorabji Tata Trust will foster sophisticated research training of scientists from the developing world and promote south-south co-operation.

 

Funding

This is the fully financed placement. The fully funded TATA Fellowship Applications will be open and obtained twice for 12 months in May and November with a selection panel. The Fellowship addresses return airfare from workplace in their home country to place of work in India, boarding, and lodging at the affiliated institution/s. Moreover, enough allowance in Indian native currency is also available to protect incidental expenses. Generally, the maximum duration of the award will be for 3 months period.

 

Eligibilities

This fully funded TATA Fellowship Application is open up to individuals from developing countries other than India. Moreover, s/he must keep a valid passport of the country of his/her home.

Candidates must be possessing a Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Science or a comparative degree in Engineering/ Medicine and of related disciplines.

Should not be over 45 years old.

In addition, should have an affiliation with a scientific or educational institution in a developing country besides India.

In addition to the program application, prospects must also submit the following vital documents

A detailed CV containing the time of birth & age, applicant’s research interest and experience, publications (only those in referred journals), present position, technological affiliations, awards, and scholarships, etc.

A quick write-up describing the proposed research work.

Two passport size photographs.

Copy of degree certificate for the most recent qualification as well as a letter of consent from the Mother Institution.

The effective date for the applications should be on 30th Apr and 31st March of each and every calendar year.
